The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce held its October Business After Hours Networking Mixer at Finger Lakes Community College, on October 11th. The event was held at the Geneva Campus Center located at 63 Pulteney St. The campus features a new, modern facility where students have the convenience of taking classes in a smaller classroom setting, flexible course options, one-on-one academic support, and a variety of workforce and career opportunities to explore and expand upon their interests after they graduate.

During the Mixer, guests enjoyed a variety of hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, including wine from FLCC’s Viticulture & Wine Technology Program. Tours were offered and the faculty leadership and students then presented a brief overview of FLCC and its offerings, providing guests with valuable information about key programs. Live entertainment was also provided by ‘Inner Eye,’ FLCC’s rock band consisting of alumni musicians, Parker Remington and Daniel Sanphy, and current student musician Strider O’Neil.

The next Business After Hours Mixer will be held on Wednesday, November 8 from 4-6 PM at Geneva Sons and Daughters of Italy in America. Admission is $5 for members and $10 for non-members and is included for all 2023 BAH Season Pass holders. Please note that advance or at-the-door payment is required. Reservations are required one week in advance.

Business After Hours are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 4 – 6 PM unless otherwise noted and are open to the public, but hosting is one of the promotional opportunities and benefits that is only offered to members.
