Three UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health employees have been recognized with the Distinguished Values Award for the first quarter of 2025. The Distinguished Values Award program selects employees every quarter for the honor. The honorees are selected from three categories: Hospital, Long Term Care, and Physician Network. These staff members are selected for consistently demonstrating organizational values and exceeding their job requirements. The awards are granted in recognition of those employees who demonstrate professionalism and serve as role models within UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health. The selected honorees for the first quarter of 2025 are Ryan Parmelee, Medical Assistant at Occupational Health – the Physician Network honoree; Katrina Traster, BSW, Social Worker at Huntington Living Center – the Long-Term Care honoree; and Robert Verkey, Physical Therapist, at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital – the Hospital Honoree.
All UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health Employees of the Quarter are eligible for the Employee of the Year honor. This award is announced in May each year at UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health’s annual Employee Recognition event, held in conjunction with National Hospital and Nursing Home Week.
