The Downtown Canandaigua Art & Music Festival will take place on Friday, July 19, from 12:00p.m.- 7:00 pm, and Saturday, July 20th & Sunday, July 21st from 10:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. The festival, now in its 36th year, lining the streets of Historic Downtown Canandaigua, will include juried artists from around the country in over 14 mediums. Don’t miss the demonstrations from glass flaming, candle making, pottery to painting, street food vendors, and an incredible lineup of live music daily.
The Golden Palette Art Trail will take place during the Arts & Music Festival in Historic Downtown Canandaigua. Pick up your free passport and map at the festival information table at 115 South Main Street or any shop with a golden palette displayed. Follow the trail to the Golden Palette stops where you’ll discover a wide variety of specials, from original art, fine crafts, demonstrations, classes, services, and unique gift items. Visit all the stops and enter to win over $1,000 worth of gift certificates, original art, art supplies, wine, musical instruments, jewelry, flamed glass pieces, candles, and more!
Between Unique Shops lining the streets to Juried Artists, Wine Bars, Breweries, Restaurants & Street Food Vendors there will be well over 150 places to stop and enjoy!
This year’s juried event introduces many new artists to the festival and welcomes back select artists from the past. Vendors will display their wares along Main Street for festival guests to browse and shop as they please. Artwork falls into various categories including all-natural products, drawing, fiber, glass, gourmet foods, jewelry, mixed media, photography, sculpture, and woodworking. Downtown Canandaigua is also blessed with a huge variety of unique gift shops, art galleries and restaurants.

A Second Stage (at the Central on Main) has been added, with Acoustic Music, Characters & Photo ops, Children’s Entertainment, Art and Dance Demonstrations throughout the weekend.
