Moravia Schools have their next superintendent.
The Moravia Central School District has announced that Dr Christopher R Leahey has been selected to be its next Superintendent of Schools, beginning July 1. The district added that Dr Leahey has nearly 30 years of experience in public education and “brings a student-centered, collaborative leadership style and a strong commitment to building partnerships that support success for every learner.”
“True progress happens when people work together,” said Dr Leahey.
To help welcome the new superintendent to the district, the district will hold a meet & greet on March 25 at 6:00p at the Junior-Senior High School Cafeteria. The official appointment is set to follow at the Board of Education meeting.
