On Friday, Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Rochester man for trespassing at Eastview Mall.
Deputies arrested John Ransom, 56, who is currently homeless. It is alleged that on March 20, Ransom was observed inside the Victor shopping center. Ransom had previously been banned from all Wilmorite Properties on February 24.
Deputies took Ransom into custody near Kay Jewelers. He was transported to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office substation for processing.
Ransom was charged with Trespass and released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to answer the charge in Victor Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
