On Thursday, Michael Davis was arrested by the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department following a traffic stop for speeding.
During the stop, officers conducted a roadside investigation and determined that the 26-year-old Seneca Falls resident was operating the vehicle while allegedly impaired by drugs. Further investigation revealed that Davis did not possess a valid New York State driver’s license.
Davis was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Speeding, and Unlicensed Operation. He was released with an appearance ticket and traffic citations and is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
