On Monday, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 36-year-old Ovid man following a domestic incident.
Hanes Minges was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, a class E felony, as well as Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Harassment in the Second Degree. The arrest occurred at approximately 7:46 a.m.
The charges stem from an incident on Monday where Minges allegedly damaged property and threatened to hurt others while engaged in a domestic dispute.
Minges was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await Centralized Arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
