Two people are facing charges after police carried out a search warrant at a home in Seneca Falls as part of a methamphetamine investigation.
According to the Seneca Falls Police Department, officers entered a residence at 108 Garden Street around 8 a.m. Monday, while investigating the distribution of meth.
Police say the search led to the arrests of 39-year-old Amanda Mahaffey and 18-year-old Brendon Heath, both of Seneca Falls.
Mahaffey is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
Heath is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
Both were released following their arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
