Several members of the Yates County law enforcement community were recognized for their service during a recent birthday celebration hosted by American Legion Post 355.
Each year, the American Legion uses the occasion to honor members of the local public safety community for their dedication and service to residents throughout Yates County.
During this year’s event, four members of the Yates County Sheriff’s Office were recognized for their work in the community. Those honored included Deputy Nick Fultz, Correction Officer James Palmer, E911 Dispatcher Lyndsay Crofoot, and Court Security Officer Jeremy Panzik. Sgt. Tyler Brzezinski was also recognized for being the Penn Yan Police Department’s 2025 Officer of the Year.
In separate social media posts, both law enforcement agenies expressed their appreciation to American Legion Post 355 for the recognition, noting that the acknowledgment highlights the commitment of local public safety personnel who serve the community every day.
