A cardiology practice affiliated with Geneva General Hospital has opened a new location in Seneca Falls to provide residents with local heart care.
Dr. Rawa Sarji, a fellowship-trained and board-certified cardiologist, is now seeing patients at Lifecare Medical Associates in Seneca County. The addition expands Geneva General Cardiology Associates’ network, which already serves patients in Geneva and Penn Yan.
Sarji has more than 20 years of experience treating conditions including coronary heart disease, arrhythmias, and ectopic heartbeats. She completed a general cardiology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and an internal medicine residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center at Columbia University. Sarji earned her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury and holds board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiology, the National Board of Echocardiography, the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology, and the Certification Board of Cardiac Computed Tomography.
Geneva General officials say the Seneca Falls location aims to improve access to cardiology care in the region, allowing patients to receive screenings, follow-ups, and ongoing treatment without traveling long distances.
The practice’s Seneca Falls office is part of a broader effort to bring specialized care closer to communities across the Finger Lakes region.
