On Tuesday, officers with the Hornell Police Department arrested a Hornell woman following an incident that occurred in Hornell City Court in late February.
Shania Flint, 29, was charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree. The arrest follows an investigation into an incident on February 26, during which Flint allegedly took out a cell phone and took pictures during a court proceeding.
Flint was processed on the charge on March 10.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
