On Friday, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Marion man following a traffic stop in the Town of Lyons.
Patrick Graham, 38, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree. Deputies stopped Graham’s vehicle after he was allegedly observed operating an uninspected vehicle and crossing the center line. During the investigation, deputies discovered Graham was in possession of a wooden billy club.
Graham was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and released on an appearance ticket. He was also issued traffic tickets and is scheduled to answer the charges in Lyons Town Court on April 7.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
