Chick-fil-A has announced that its new restaurant in Victor is expected to open later this year.
The restaurant will be located on the property of Eastview Mall and will be a 15,331-square-foot quick-service restaurant built on the southeast corner of the mall site.
Plans for the project were previously reviewed by the Victor Town Board, which approved the site plan with conditions on November 12.
The Victor location is part of Chick-fil-A’s broader expansion across New York. The company recently announced plans to open six new locally owned and operated restaurants in the Capital Region, Finger Lakes, and Southern Tier by the end of 2029.
In the Finger Lakes region, the Victor restaurant is among the first planned openings, along with a future location in Penfield.
Chick-fil-A officials say the six planned restaurants across upstate New York are expected to create more than 600 jobs. The company also announced it will donate a total of $150,000 to local food banks to mark the restaurant openings.
Since opening its first restaurant in the region in 2018, Chick-fil-A has expanded to a dozen locations across upstate New York, including a recent opening at CityGate in Rochester.
Additional restaurants are planned for the Capital Region and Southern Tier, including locations in Latham, Albany, Johnson City, and Vestal.
Company officials say each restaurant will be locally owned and operated, with owner-operators living and working in the communities they serve.
