The 51st Annual State of New York Police Juvenile Officers Association (SNYPJOA) Training Conference will be held in Penn Yan this summer.

This statewide conference will be held August 17–21 at the Seasons Conference Center and Hampton Inn. It will bring together approximately 250–300 law enforcement professionals from across New York and the surrounding region for advanced training, professional development, and networking opportunities.

Attendees include supervisors, School Resource Officers, Community Resource Officers, and frontline juvenile officers dedicated to youth engagement and public safety.

Founded in 1975, SNYPJOA is a statewide educational and training organization focused on crimes committed by or against children. The association provides officers and professionals with the tools they need to serve, protect, and positively impact the lives of youth and families throughout New York. Members work directly with children in schools and communities, building trust, providing guidance, and offering resources for safety, counseling, and rehabilitation. Through these efforts, SNYPJOA strengthens relationships, promotes safety, and fosters resilience among young people.

The annual conference provides participants with the latest strategies, best practices, and resources to enhance law enforcement’s work with young people and communities throughout the state. The event is recognized as a key gathering for officers committed to improving public safety while fostering positive relationships between law enforcement and youth.
