Watertown Cannabis Store Padlocked After Teen is Hospitalized

The New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) has issued an Order to Seal and padlocked 420 Glass LLC, located at 21182 Salmon Run Mall Loop W, following an investigation into illegal cannabis sales and a reported adverse incident involving a minor.

On February 23, OCM received a complaint through its online reporting system alleging that a 16-year-old girl was hospitalized after consuming cannabis flower purchased from an unlicensed store. An OCM inspection team seized a variety of illicit cannabis products during an on-site inspection, leading to the store being officially padlocked.

No arrests have been made due to insufficient information on the alleged victim. OCM urges parents and guardians to report suspected underage sales through its online reporting tool at https://cannabis.ny.gov/report-an-incident. While providing contact information is optional, it is strongly encouraged to allow investigators to follow up directly.

“OCM takes reports involving youth exposure to illicit cannabis very seriously,” said Daniel Haughney, Director of Enforcement and Investigations for OCM. “Unlicensed operators selling untested products endanger public health and safety, and those risks increase when underage youth are involved. Our investigators will continue to act swiftly on credible complaints to protect consumers and uphold the integrity of the legal market.”
