On Friday, Ethan Payne, age 37, of Farmington, was arrested by authorities on an active bench warrant.
The warrant was issued after Payne allegedly failed to appear in Canandaigua City Court on February 4 regarding original charges of Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree.
Following the arrest at approximately 8:06 p.m., Payne was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await centralized arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
