The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office released details regarding an arrest made late last month.
On February 24, Styven Mayen Carrera of Calverton was arrested for failing to appear in court regarding the original charges.
Following his arrest on the outstanding warrant, Mayen Carrera was arraigned in Schuyler County Centralized Arraignment Court and released to appear in the Village of Watkins Glen Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
