On Friday, the Yates County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Penn Yan man following an outstanding warrant.
Devan Peek, 33, was taken into custody after turning himself in at the Yates County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest was based on a warrant issued for Violation of Probation.
Peek was processed by Sergeant Chisom and held for the next Centralized Arraignment Part session.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
