SHARE NOW

On Friday, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Marion man following a domestic incident investigation in the Town of Ontario.

Ronald Bishop, 44, was taken into custody for an incident that allegedly occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m. on Hennessey Road. Investigators allege that Bishop made verbal threats to his boyfriend, which violated an active order of protection previously issued by the Town of Walworth Court.

Bishop has been charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree and Harassment in the Second Degree. Following his arrest, he was transported to the Wayne County Jail to await centralized arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
