SHARE NOW

There are two openings for those interested in joining Moravia Central School District’s Board of Education.

The district announced this week that the terms of board members Heidi McNall and Diana Plue will expire on June 30. These two seats will be for three-year terms, set to begin on July 1.

Those interested in serving on the board can obtain nominating petitions from the district office. The district said petitions must be filed with the district clerk no later than 5:00p on April 20 and contain the signatures of at least 25 qualified voters.

The district added, “serving on the Board of Education is an important opportunity to contribute to the leadership and future direction of the Moravia Central School District.”

Those seeking more information on the petition process or board service are asked to contact District Clerk Jodie Rusaw at [email protected] or (315) 497-2670 ext. 2003
