The Macedon Police Department arrested a 67-year-old Webster man following an investigation into a shoplifting incident.
Thomas Hoke was taken into custody and charged with Petit Larceny.
Following his arrest, Hoke was processed and released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to return to the Macedon Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
