On Friday, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 32-year-old Waterloo man following a domestic incident in the Town of Waterloo.
Zachary Herman was taken into custody at approximately 2:19 a.m. and charged with Aggravated Family Offense, a Class E Felony, as well as Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree and Harassment in the Second Degree.
The charges stem from an incident where Herman allegedly shoved a victim and intentionally damaged a television that did not belong to him. Following the arrest, Herman was transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center for processing.
Herman was held in the custody of the Seneca County Corrections Division to await arraignment in the Seneca County Centralized Arraignment Part Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
