SHARE NOW

On Tuesday, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a Savannah woman following a theft investigation involving her place of employment.

At 2:47 p.m., police took 48-year-old Vanessa Putman into custody. An investigation reportedly determined that Putman had stolen prescription drug medication from her employer while she was working.

As a result of the investigation, Putman was charged with one count of Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor.

Following her arrest, Putman was issued an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear before the Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
