Canandaigua National Bank is expanding further into Central New York with its first branch in the city of Auburn, set to open in spring 2027. The new location will be the bank’s 30th community office.
The Auburn branch will be at 10 Osborne Street, with construction expected to begin this summer. It will offer the bank’s full range of services, including personal and business banking, commercial and mortgage lending, wealth management, estate and trust services, insurance, and loan origination.
The move follows the bank’s January opening in downtown Syracuse at 333 Washington Station. Additional branches are under construction in DeWitt, Liverpool, and Cicero, with openings planned for this summer. Canandaigua National Bank also announced it is considering other locations in the Syracuse area as part of its ongoing Central New York expansion.
“Auburn is an important part of our growth,” said Frank Hamlin, President and CEO of Canandaigua National Bank. “It’s conveniently located between our Geneva and Syracuse branches, and we’re excited to serve customers in the heart of the community.”
The bank has steadily grown over its 139-year history, expanding its footprint across Ontario and Monroe Counties over the past 35 years.
