On Sunday, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident on State Route 104 in the Town of Williamson.
At approximately 6:06 p.m., deputies arrived at the scene to find both vehicles in the roadway with visible damage. The drivers were identified as Genevieve Vanderbroek of Sodus and Malikya Russell of Rochester.
Russell and a passenger, Tracy Turner of Rochester, were transported by ambulance to Rochester General Hospital for evaluation of minor injuries. No other serious injuries were reported following the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
