On Thursday, at approximately 4:34 PM, Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Kurtis Freeman, 34, of Canandaigua, following an incident on North Street.
The arrest followed an investigation into a report that Freeman allegedly struck a vehicle multiple times with a traffic cone, causing damage. Freeman was charged with Criminal Mischief in the third degree.
Following the arrest, Freeman was transported to Centralized Arraignment Court and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Canandaigua Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
