A Cayuga County nonprofit and music venue have made it to the semi-finals in their bids to win Syracuse Area Music Awards.
Perform 4 Purpose, a nonprofit providing music lessons and instruction to youth in Cayuga County and surrounding areas, has made it to the final four for a People’s Choice Award in the Local Academic or Musical Organization category. If Perform 4 Purpose is successful this year, this will be the group’s second award, known as a SAMMY, having won its first in 2024.
Lunkenheimer Craft Brewing Company in Weedsport has also made it to the semi-finals in both the Local Event or Music Series and Local Venue categories.
Voting is open now until Sunday, with the top two in each category moving on to the final round. Voting can be done here.
