73-year-old Margaret Schoneman has been located.
Thanks to a member of the public who saw the State Police Facebook post indicating she was missing, Ms. Schoneman was spotted walking on the campus of Cornell University.
She is in good condition.
The New York State Police in Ithaca are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 73-year-old woman from Lansing.
Troopers say Margaret Schoneman was last seen late Thursday night at her home on Auburn Road. A family member discovered she was missing around 8 a.m. Friday, and noticed the front door to the residence was unlocked.
Investigators say Schoneman did not take her cellphone, does not have access to a vehicle, and it’s unclear what she may have been wearing when she left.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact State Police at 607-561-7400 immediately.
