A Cayuga County nonprofit and music venue are still in the running for the Syracuse Area Music Awards.
Perform 4 Purpose, a nonprofit that provides tuition-free music instruction, workshops, and performances throughout the year for local youth in Cayuga and neighboring counties, and Lunkenheimer Craft Brewing Company in Weedsport, have both made it to the quarterfinals in their respective categories for People’s Choice Awards.
Perform 4 Purpose is competing for its second award in the Local Academic or Musical Organization category. Lunkenheimer is competing for an award in both the Local Event or Music Series and Local Venue categories.
Voting in the fifth round ends on Sunday, with the top four winners in each category advancing to round six on Tuesday. Voting can be done here.
