A Penn Yan man is facing assault charges after a reported domestic altercation.
Police say 44-year-old Reginald A. Storms III was taken into custody following a call about a physical domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who said Storms struck her in the face during an altercation.
Storms was transported to the Penn Yan Police Department for processing and then taken to Yates County Jail to await arraignment in the Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) court the following morning.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
