A juvenile is facing charges after deputies say two other youths were assaulted in the Town of Ovid.
Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson reports the arrest happened on Friday morning. According to deputies, the juvenile is charged with third-degree assault, a Class A misdemeanor, and attempted third-degree assault, a Class B misdemeanor.
The juvenile is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
