    The coldest wind chills are expected over the exposed, higher elevations Saturday morning and again Saturday night into Sunday morning. Northwest winds will be gusting between 30 to 45 mph at times on Saturday. Isolated power outages are possible.

Schuyler County Woman Arrested on Victor Bench Warrant

A Schuyler County woman was arrested Thursday night in Ontario County on an outstanding bench warrant.

Deputies say 28-year-old Rachel Phytila, of Montour Falls, was taken into custody around 10:00 p.m. at a location on State Route 5 and 20 in the Town of West Bloomfield. The arrest stemmed from a bench warrant issued by Victor Town Court for failing to appear on previous charges of petit larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Phytila was held for arraignment and is expected to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer to the charges.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
