An Auburn man is facing charges after allegedly damaging his boyfriend’s property.
According to Auburn Police, at approximately 10:40a on February 2, officers were informed by the victim that his boyfriend, 29-year-old Kevin Breese, was currently damaging his property.
Officers were also told that Breese had hit him earlier in the day, causing him to bleed from the mouth. The victim fled to get away from Breese.
At approximately 10:30a, Breese is accused of FaceTiming the victim, showing him smashing his PlayStation 4. Text messages also indicated that Breese planned to slash the victim’s vehicle’s tires, which was left at Breese’s Genesee St residence.
The victim was taken to Breese’s residence, where he found all four of his tires slashed.
Breese was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief and Harassment. Due to a 2023 domestic-related criminal contempt conviction, he was also charged with Aggravated Family Offense, a felony.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
