    Dangerous wind chills colder than 20 below zero possible.

    All of central New York and northeast Pennsylvania.

    From late Friday night through Sunday afternoon.
    IMPACTS
    The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    An arctic front will bring cold air and strong winds to the region Saturday morning. Below normal temperatures and blustery winds will result in wind chills dropping well below zero Saturday morning. Wind chills will remain below zero through the rest of the weekend.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.

Palmyra Woman Arrested for DWI Following Early Morning Crash

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Palmyra woman after a motor vehicle crash caused property damage early Wednesday morning.

59-year-old Kristine Feeney was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .15%. She was also cited for speeding and failure to keep right. The crash, which occurred around 1:22 a.m., did not result in any injuries.

Feeney was processed at the Sheriff’s Office and released on traffic tickets. She is scheduled to appear in Town of Palmyra Court at a later date

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
