Ontario County deputies arrested a Rochester man Monday at the Monroe County Jail on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court.
Ryan Bufano, 41, had an active warrant out of Farmington Town Court for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, officials said. Deputies took him into custody without incident at the jail on Plymouth Avenue South.
Bufano was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment in the Court Assistance Program (CAP).
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
