A Prattsburgh woman was arrested following a traffic stop in the Village of Penn Yan.
Penn Yan Police say 47-year-old Shannon Reeves was taken into custody after officers determined she had an active warrant issued by Yates County for failure to respond to an appearance ticket.
Reeves was transported to the Yates County Jail and turned over to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office to await CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
