A Waterloo man is facing multiple charges after being arrested at the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center.
Seneca County Sheriff Timothy Thompson said deputies arrested 56-year-old Arcangel Soler at about 10 p.m. on Friday on charges of Harassment in the second degree, a violation, and Criminal Tampering in the third degree, a misdemeanor.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the arrest stemmed from a disturbance in which Soler allegedly caused minor injury to another person by subjecting the victim to unwanted physical contact. While in custody on the harassment charge, deputies say Soler was later charged with criminal tampering after he urinated on the floor of the deputies’ room inside the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center.
Soler was turned over to the corrections division and was scheduled to appear in CAP Court for arraignment.
New York State Police assisted at the scene.
