A Seneca Falls woman was recently arrested on charges related to witness intimidation and obstruction of government administration, according to the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department.
Police say 31-year-old Angelina Dyson was taken into custody on January 20. She is accused of making threats to a witness and concealing the whereabouts of a male facing criminal charges. Dyson was charged with intimidating a witness in the third degree, a Class E felony, and obstruction of governmental administration, a Class A misdemeanor.
Dyson was processed at the Seneca Falls Police Department and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where she is being held pending arraignment.
Police say an order of protection has been requested on behalf of the victim.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
