A Seneca Falls resident was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs following a traffic stop Monday night, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies stopped a vehicle in the Town of Seneca Falls at about 8:42 p.m. Jan. 12. Following an investigation, Jamie Paone was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs.
Paone was also cited for inadequate or missing tail lamps and for operating a vehicle with the driver’s view obstructed, according to the sheriff’s office.
He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date to answer the charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
