Wayne County Woman Accused of Theft in Seneca Falls

SHARE NOW

Seneca Falls Police have arrested a Wayne County woman following an investigation into a theft at a local business.

According to the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department, 43-year-old Misty Grant of Sodus was taken into custody on Monday. Authorities say the arrest stemmed from an investigation into a reported larceny incident at a business in the village.

Grant has been charged with petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date.

No additional details about the alleged theft were released by police.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
