Liverpool Man Arrested on Cayuga County, Auburn Warrants

SHARE NOW

A Central New York man wanted on two felony arrest warrants out of the City of Auburn has turned himself in to police.

31-year-old Tyland Thompson, of Liverpool, was arrested on a felony criminal contempt charge after he allegedly violated a full stay-away order of protection by calling the victim and her family members. Due to having previous domestic violence convictions within the past five years, the misdemeanor offense became a felony.

Thomas was also arrested on an indictment issued out of Cayuga County Court. He was charged with two felony counts of aggravated family offense and two counts of criminal contempt for a domestic-related incident.

Thomas was taken to Cayuga County Jail to await arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
