A Waterloo man was arrested late Monday in connection with a domestic incident that investigators say caused fear among multiple children.
Seneca County Sheriff’s investigators arrested 33-year-old Christopher Hennigan at about 10:30 p.m. Jan. 12 on three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
The charges stem from an incident in December in which Hennigan is accused of acting in a physical and reckless manner during a domestic dispute, causing substantial fear to several children, according to the sheriff’s office.
Hennigan was arraigned and has since been released. Orders of protection were issued on behalf of the victims.
The case remains under investigation.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
