A Medina man was arrested early Friday after deputies executed an active arrest warrant during a traffic stop investigation, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said Trevvohn Parker, a 34-year-old Medina resident, was arrested around 2:20 a.m. Jan. 10 on a failure to appear warrant issued out of the town of Williamson. The arrest followed a traffic stop conducted by the Medina Police Department in the town of Lyons.
Parker was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and then taken to the Wayne County Jail, where he was held on the warrant, officials said.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
