The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Syracuse man on an active warrant.
The arrest of 27-year-old Tyrease Young of Syracuse, on January 1, stems from a violation of pre-trial release. Young was taken into custody after being involved in a motor vehicle accident in Broome County. Officials say the Broome County Sheriff’s Office notified Seneca County deputies of Young’s warrant, leading to his arrest.
Young was transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center, where he will await a court appearance before the County Attorney’s Program (CAP) court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
