A Rochester man was arrested on forgery charges by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office just before 10 a.m. Monday.
Authorities say 25-year-old Juan R. Martinez of Lorenzo Street allegedly forged a Town of Walworth building permit.
Martinez was arrested and released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Walworth Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
