Brockport Police responded to a report of a domestic incident involving a stabbing at a Main Street address last Friday night.
When officers arrived, they found a 48-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. The victim was transported by Monroe Ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery.
Police arrested 73-year-old Bertha Kelley of Brockport in connection with the incident. Kelley was charged with first-degree assault, a Class B felony.
She was processed by police, taken to the Monroe County Jail, and later arraigned by City Court. Kelley was released to pretrial services following arraignment.
