A travel advisory remains in effect for northern Cayuga County.
Issued on Monday, Sheriff Brian Schenck announced the advisory will continue through 7:00a on Wednesday.
The sheriff said that heavy snow and wind are making travel difficult from Weedsport to Fair Haven. Additionally, First responders are dealing with downed trees and wires due to heavy winds.
If travelling during the advisory, the sheriff urges you to use caution and allow yourself extra time for travel.
