SHARE NOW

A Seneca Falls man has been arrested in connection with a burglary at Fall Street Brewing Company earlier this week.

The Seneca Falls Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division reports that 24-year-old Mekhi Russ was taken into custody around 2 p.m. on Tuesday in connection with a burglary at the brewery on Fall Street.

Police say the burglary occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, following the village’s “It’s a Wonderful Life” weekend celebration. Investigators allege the business was unlawfully entered, and several items were stolen.

Russ was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree grand larceny, and possession of burglar’s tools.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information related to this or similar incidents is asked to contact the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
