The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department reports that an 18-year-old was arrested early Monday morning following a dispute that led to an assault investigation.
Police say officers arrested 18-year-old Brendon Heath just before 5 a.m. The investigation determined that Heath allegedly struck a victim, causing physical injury.
Heath was charged with assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor. He was processed and transported to the Seneca County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment.
An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
