A Gorham man was arrested on charges of aggravated family offense and first-degree criminal contempt.
According to authorities, deputies responded to a third-party report of a physical disturbance occurring outside a residence. When deputies arrived, they observed a physical and verbal dispute between David Bradley and a woman. Investigators say Bradley attempted to retreat inside the home, but deputies followed and took him into custody.
Officials say the arrest was based on the incident itself and an alleged violation of a refrain-from-order-of-protection.
Bradley was processed and remanded to the Ontario County Jail, where he is being held pending centralized arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
